Since June 1, 1960, Butler-Johnson has been specializing in the sales and marketing of nationally branded flooring and surfacing products. We have developed solid relationships with a number of leading manufacturers, providing innovative, interior surfacing products to both the residential and commercial markets. In 1971, we became the very first DuPont distributor West of the Mississippi and today, we are recognized as one of the leading DuPont Surfaces distributors in North America. Our tile division, features a wide selection of imported and domestic tile manufacturers including Crossville Inc., and Interceramic. And with the addition of Piedrafina Marble Surfacing, BJC is proud to be "your local source for premium surfacing solutions".

Our vast range of products are sold throughout Northern California and the greater Reno area and can be found at a wide variety of specialty retail locations, including kitchen and bath dealers, tile retailers, home centers, builder design centers as well as our extensive network of fabricators and installers of DuPont Corian® and DuPont Zodiaq®.

The Design Community.

Architects and interior designers are also an integral part of our business and we have dedicated associates who provide product specifications, technical assistance and sample support to these individuals, assisting them when specifying our products for residential or commercial projects.
